Ask:
As the brand developer for Wrecktangle Pizza, I was tasked with creating a commercial to introduce the brand to local audiences.
Key Insight:
Older millennials are looking for a cozy low-key night out.
Main Idea:
Wrecktangle is as cozy as your parent's cabin

Method:
By utilizing social media analytics to find Wrecktangle’s core consumer base, conducting 3 months of social listening, and collaborating with the director Tyler Thomas, I was able to create a concept that the creatives at Plural Films could use to develop a video spot for Wrecktangle Pizza.
Summary:
Through exploring Wrecktangle’s consumer base and utilizing social listening I was able to glean that the weekdays in crowded clubs and loud venues are in the past for older millennials (Wrecktangle’s core consumer base). However, this audience is still in the market for cozy third spaces. In order to tap into this key insight, we wanted to position Wrecktangle as the third space that’s as cozy as your parents’ cabin.
During this process I was responsible for finding a production company, casting the talent, and making sure the concept remained true to Wrecktangle’s brand image.
